Outside again!

I am so grateful for the rain yesterday and today. Not only do we desperately need the rain here in California, the rain knocked most of the remaining tree pollen out and made for a very enjoyable and tolerable 3.1/12 on the pollen scale.

Darwin was elated to get out for a "walk" in our favorite place, Sycamore Grove Park.
He buried his nose in the dewy sweet grass and fiddleneck.

We enjoyed our morning walk in the rain with the birds singing.

My hope is that it rains a bit more and we get a couple more days outside. I think tree pollen is on its last leg which means we can resume our regularly scheduled pre-work walk. Darwin has been such a good boy about being a shut in with me and my hubby has been walking him or playing ball after he comes home from work as well as dog park visits. I think it's time to get Darwin a new toy as a way to say thanks.
