I'm a relatively smart girl. I know how the tide works. I'm also not a religious girl, but I am spiritual. My dad and mom's cremains were both scattered at sea.
Whenever we go to the beach I always greet them quietly and say a few things. It's just my way, I've done it for 20 years. The tide could be way out and no matter what, when I greet them the tide always seems to come up to me. It always gives me a small comfort, like they are coming up to hug me.
